“What could your life have been if there was no one made the choice for you?” I asked him, ignoring the point of the talk.
“Maybe went to the university, then found a better job or raised a company? I can’t figure it out.”
“I can.” I said. “You would go to a place where was not here, marry a woman who was not my mother, have a child who was not me.”
He laughed out loud. “You are right. For god’s sake, you are here now.”
